Welcome to Marketing Advice for Schools
Marketing Advice for Schools is the network for all those responsible for school marketing, communications and community development. It offers targeted news, analysis and research; advice and inspiration; events and networking; and access to specialist school marketing training and consultancy.
Marketing Advice for Schools started in 2012 as a blog to stand alongside the book 'An Introduction to Marketing for Schools' (which you can still buy here!). The website grew over time to add more information, advice and inspiration for school marketers. At the same time, political changes across the UK and many other countries led to more and more schools needing to take on marketing tasks - whether that be increasing student numbers, engaging local communities or raising money to maintain their level of excellence. Marketing Advice for Schools's founder Simon Hepburn also became more and more involved in delivering marketing training - initially face-to-face but also online.
From September 2017, these changes will be recognised with the re-launch of Marketing Advice for Schools as 'the school marketing network'. In addition to the exisiting online networking and advice, there will be new opportunities to meet fellow and learn from school marketers around the UK, more detailed research and more opportunities to share the great things that schools are doing. There will also be more training opportunities and discounts on a range of useful services from our network of friendly consultants! (Please contact us if you'd like to host or take part in an event.)
School marketers will be able to keep up with some of this information for free - but full membership (only £40 per year) will add many benefits at a small price. For full details of the different options, visit our 'Sign-up' page here or click on a logo to download our latest brochure...
