Course Lead
Simon Hepburn spent 10 years working in marketing in industry and consultancy and holds an MBA from Henley Management College. He managed a £1.5m advertising budget for Reed, advised Vodafone on improving its image as an employer, and developed a new practice in one of the UK’s leading reputation management consultancies, Communications Management. He retrained as a teacher at the Institute of Education, London, and spent 11 years working as a full-time teacher and Head of Department in both state and private schools. He has worked with over 350 schools, runs regular training courses for the Institute of School Business Leaders, and is the author of two books – ‘Marketing Your School’ and ‘Recruiting Teachers’.
Who should take this course?
Those in charge of communications and/or events in any school or small group of schools (e.g. Office Manager, School Business Manager, Communications Lead, Assistant Head, Head’s PA). This workshop will be especially useful to those new to a role in this area who have limited communications and marketing experience.
